Spring Maternity Photo Shoot in Fairfield, CT
We got so lucky for our spring maternity photo shoot catching the very first blooms of the season and a little bit of warm breeze. Kristina is due in a month (or two) but since her first bundle of joy made an earlier than expected arrival, we didn’t want to wait any longer to do the maternity session. It look a bit of driving around town to find a location that looked somewhat like spring, but this was a clearly a home run! Even the family dog- sweet little Sammy was excited for the green lawn and ample running space. Maybe a little too excited since he didn’t actually want to stay put for any of the photos. Only later did I realize how adorable and happy he looked popping into the photos here and there.
If only spring blooms could last a little longer so we can squeeze in more photo shoots outdoors, but sadly the moment has come and gone. I always feel like I wait for them for months, try to anticipate their arrival and optimize the locations of where it will happen and they only seem to last a fleeting moment. I guess you have to bask in its beauty if you are lucky enough to find yourself outside during the blooms, with a beautiful family, on a warm spring day. Now that my wait for spring flowers is over, I will wait for their baby to arrive.
