Moving the studio from Milford CT to the current location in Monroe CT was a huge transition. I went from working at a storefront location to working in a space in my home. The space I now have is smaller than my original space and I was sure this would mean that I would have to make some sacrifices. The final design of the space was keeping me up at night. I wanted to make sure that my clients where comfortable and had access to all creature comforts (and snacks of course) and I also needed to make sure I was able to accommodate several shooting areas and props. We were able to create a good sized prop room, storage and a front entrance where clients can grab a coffee, snacks and take their coats and shoes off. We replaced my old bulky tv with a ceiling mounted projector for reveal sessions -which looks amazing! We created a client lounge area with comfy seating, access to wi-fi, chargers, changing station and did I mention snacks. It was all a labor of love and I am beyond thrilled with how it all turned out. I get so many complements on the studio - especially from those clients who came with me from my old space to my new one.

The one major benefit that I hardly imagined when we moved here was that I had the opportunity to create some outdoor

studio spaces. This year alone we planted 17 new trees that will provide me both spring blooms and fall color. Not to mention some awesome rock walls and stone features I can now offer my clients right on site. The location is pretty amazing too. Clients have no trouble finding me, our new space is located right on the Easton/Trumbull line and we are only 20 minutes from Milford, Fairfield and Westport. Yet across the street we have a small farm with a small collection of livestock to entertain the kiddos.
